LIANZHOU

    Sourcing

    Fabric sourcing from Keqiao,
the heart of China's textile trade

Our office sits in Keqiao, Shaoxing, home to China Textile City, one of the world's largest fabric markets. Thousands of mills and converters are within an hour of our desk. We know which mill weaves what, at which quality, and at what lead time.

    What We Source

    Velvets, jacquards, chenilles, linen-look.

    Printed & dyed fabrics

Digital and rotary prints, piece-dyed, yarn-dyed.

    PFP & PFD fabrics

Prepared-for-print and prepared-for-dyeing bases, scoured and bleached, ready for your own printing or dyeing.

    Apparel fabrics

Wovens and knits for fashion programmes.

What We Check on Every Fabric

Before bulk, we agree the specification with you and check it at the mill:

    Construction

Composition, weight (GSM), usable width, weave or knit.

    Colour

Shade against your standard, under the light source you specify.

    Performance

Colour fastness to rubbing, washing and light; shrinkage; pilling and abrasion (Martindale) for upholstery.

    Finishes

    Soft-touch, water-repellent, flame-retardant, blackout coating.

    Appearance

    Hand-feel, drape, defects per roll.

    Sampling Made Simple

Swatches, hangers, header cards and colour cards to build your collection, then strike-offs and lab dips to lock every colourway before production.

    How We Work

    01

    Brief

Your reference, swatch or mood board becomes a technical spec: composition, weight, width, finish, colour standard.

    02

    Mill selection

We shortlist mills on quality, capacity, lead time and the compliance your market requires.

    03

    Development

Strike-offs, lab dips and pre-production samples until you approve.

    04

    Bulk & control

We follow the run at the mill, check shade, hand-feel and defects against the approved sample, and ship.

    A team on the ground

We visit the mills, not just email them.

    European standards

We've supplied European retailers for years and know their quality manuals, labelling and packing rules.

    Trade finance experience

We work under letters of credit, routine for large retail orders.

    FAQ

    What is the minimum order?

It depends on the fabric and finish. Stock fabrics can start small; custom colours and prints need a mill run. Tell us your volumes and we will find a mill that fits them.

    How long does it take?

Sampling usually takes days to a few weeks; bulk depends on the fabric and the mill's schedule. We give you a dated plan with every quotation.

    Can you match my sample?

Yes. Send a swatch or a photo with references; we analyse it and propose the closest qualities, then develop until it matches.

What are PFP and PFD fabrics?

Prepared-for-print and prepared-for-dyeing bases: greige fabric scoured and bleached so it takes print or dye evenly. We supply them to printers and converters who finish in-house.

    How do you ship?

From the nearby ports of Ningbo and Shanghai, by sea or air, with all export documents prepared. We are used to letter-of-credit terms.
